Goals and Objectives
- Consider appropriately listing Albury’s DC-2 as an item of cultural heritage significance
- Establish a not-for-profit, community based organisation to accept ownership of the memorial DC-2 aircraft (completed)
- Find a suitable hangar for the restoration of the Uiver Memorial DC-2 aircraft (completed)
- Restore the memorial aircraft to display condition, in accordance with the Uiver Memorial Conservation Management Plan
- Establish a museum to display the restored DC-2 aircraft and related exhibits
Design concepts of a future museum and visitor centre at Albury Airport.
